I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “simple” from the entire Bible (KJV).
Psalms 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect,
converting the soul:
the testimony of the LORD is sure,
making wise the simple.

I was brought low,
and he helped me.

it giveth understanding unto the simple.

will ye love simplicity?
and the scorners delight in their scorning,
and fools hate knowledge?
Proverbs 1:32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them,
and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
Proverbs 7:7 And beheld among the simple ones,
I discerned among the youths,
a young man void of understanding,
8. Passing through the street near her corner;
and he went the way to her house,
9. In the twilight,
in the evening,
in the black and dark night:
10. And, behold, there met him a woman
with the attire of an harlot,
and subtil of heart.
Proverbs 8:5 O ye simple, understand wisdom:
and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.

she hath hewn out
her seven pillars:
2. She hath killed her beasts;
she hath mingled her wine;
she hath also furnished her table.
3. She hath sent forth her maidens:
she crieth upon the highest places of the city,
Proverbs 9:4 Whoso is simple,
let him turn in hither:
as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,
Proverbs 9:13 A foolish woman is clamorous:
she is simple,
and knoweth nothing.
Proverbs 9:16 Whoso is simple,
let him turn in hither:
and as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,

but the prudent man looketh well to his going.

but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.
Proverbs 19:25 Smite a scorner,
and the simple will beware:
and reprove one that hath understanding,
and he will understand knowledge.
Proverbs 21:11 When the scorner is punished,
the simple is made wise:
and when the wise is instructed,
he receiveth knowledge.
Proverbs 22:3 A prudent man foreseeth the evil,
and hideth himself:
but the simple pass on,
and are punished.
Proverbs 27:12 A prudent man foreseeth the evil,
and hideth himself;
but the simple pass on,
and are punished.

so shall ye reconcile the house.
Romans 16:17. Now I beseech you, brethren,
mark them which cause divisions
and offences contrary to the doctrine
which ye have learned;
and avoid them.
Romans 16:18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ,
but their own belly;
and by good words
and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
Romans 16:19 For your obedience is come abroad unto all men.
I am glad therefore on your behalf:
but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good,
and simple concerning evil.
