I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “Heritage”.

Exodus 6:8   And I will bring you in unto the land,
concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob;
and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the LORD.

Job 20:29   This is the portion of a wicked man from God,
and the heritage appointed unto him by God.

Job 27:13   This is the portion of a wicked man with God,
and the heritage of oppressors,
which they shall receive of the Almighty.

Psalms 16:6   The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places;
yea, I have a goodly heritage.

Psalms 61:5   For thou, O God, hast heard my vows:
thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.

Psalms 94:5   They break in pieces thy people,
O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.

Psalms 111:6   He hath shewed his people the power of his works,
that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.

Psalms 119:111   Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever:
for they are the rejoicing of my heart.

Psalms 127:3   Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD:
and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Psalms 135:12   And gave their land for an heritage,
an heritage unto Israel his people.

Psalms 136:21   And gave their land for an heritage:
for his mercy endureth for ever:

Psalms 136:22   Even an heritage unto Israel his servant:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

Isaiah 49:8   Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee,
and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee,
and give thee for a covenant of the people,
to establish the earth,
to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;

Isaiah 54:17   No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper;
and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Isaiah 58:14   Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD;
and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth,
and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father:
for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

Jeremiah 2:7   And I brought you into a plentiful country,
to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof;
but when ye entered, ye defiled my land,
and made mine heritage an abomination.

Jeremiah 3:19   But I said, How shall I put thee among the children,
and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations?
and I said, Thou shalt call me, My father;
and shalt not turn away from me.

Jeremiah 12:7   I have forsaken mine house,
I have left mine heritage;
I have given the dearly beloved of my soul into the hand of her enemies.

Jeremiah 12:8   Mine heritage is unto me as a lion in the forest;
it crieth out against me:
therefore have I hated it.

Jeremiah 12:9   Mine heritage is unto me as a speckled bird,
the birds round about are against her;
come ye, assemble all the beasts of the field, come to devour.

Jeremiah 12:15   And it shall come to pass,
after that I have plucked them out I will return,
and have compassion on them, and will bring them again,
every man to his heritage, and every man to his land.

Jeremiah 17:4   And thou, even thyself,
shalt discontinue from thine heritage that I gave thee;
and I will cause thee to serve thine enemies in the land which thou knowest not:
for ye have kindled a fire in mine anger, which shall burn for ever.

Jeremiah 50:11   Because ye were glad, because ye rejoiced,
O ye destroyers of mine heritage,
because ye are grown fat as the heifer at grass, and bellow as bulls;

Joel 2:17   Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD,
weep between the porch and the altar,
and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD,
and give not thine heritage to reproach,
that the heathen should rule over them:
wherefore should they say among the people,
Where is their God?

Joel 3:2   I will also gather all nations,
and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat,
and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel,
whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

Micah 2:2   And they covet fields,
and take them by violence; and houses,
and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house,
even a man and his heritage.

Micah 7:14   Feed thy people with thy rod,
the flock of thine heritage,
which dwell solitarily in the wood,
in the midst of Carmel:
let them feed in Bashan and Gilead,
as in the days of old.

Micah 7:18   Who is a God like unto thee,
that pardoneth iniquity,
and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage?
he retaineth not his anger for ever,
because he delighteth in mercy.

Malachi 1:3   And I hated Esau,
and laid his mountains and his heritage waste
for the dragons of the wilderness.

1 Peter 5:3   Neither as being lords over God’s heritage,
but being ensamples to the flock.
