“Cover . . ./.eth../ed.. ” …What? … from the New Testament (KJV)

For if the woman be not covered,
let her also be shorn:
but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven,

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “Cover../.eth../..ed..”.

Mar-14:65 And some began to spit on him,
and to cover his face,
and to buffet him,
and to say unto him, Prophesy:
and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands.

Luke 23:30   Then shall they begin to say
to the mountains, Fall on us;
and to the hills, Cover us.

Luk-8:16 No man, when he hath lighted a candle,
covereth it with a vessel,
or putteth  it under a bed;
but setteth  it on a candlestick,
that they which enter in may see the light.

1Co-11:7 For a man indeed ought not to cover  his head,
forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God:
but the woman is the glory of the man.
