“Eyes” from King ‘Solomon’ , ‘Preacher’ and the Book of Wisdom

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “Eyes”, from King Solomon’s ‘Proverbs and Song of Songs’ , and the ‘Preacher’s’ Book of Wisdom – (Greek – ekklēsiastēs).

Pro 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes:
fear the LORD,
and depart from evil.

Pro 3:21 My son, let not them depart from thine eyes:
keep sound wisdom and discretion:

Pro 4:21 Let them not depart from thine eyes;
keep them in the midst of thine heart.

Pro 4:25 Let thine eyes look right on,
and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.

Pro 5:21 For the ways of man  are before the eyes of the LORD,
and he pondereth all his goings.

Pro 6:4 Give not sleep to thine eyes,
nor slumber to thine eyelids.

Pro 6:13 He winketh with his eyes,
he speaketh with his feet,
he teacheth with his fingers;

Pro 10:26 As vinegar to the teeth,
and as smoke to the eyes,
so  is the sluggard to them that send him.

Pro 12:15 The way of a fool  is right in his own eyes:
but he that hearkeneth unto counsel  is wise.

Pro 15:3 The eyes of the LORD are in every place,
beholding the evil and the good.

Pro 15:30 The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart:
and a good report maketh the bones fat.

but the LORD weigheth the spirits.

scattereth away all evil with his eyes.

lest thou come to poverty;
open thine eyes,
and thou shalt be satisfied with bread.

Pro 21:2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes:
but the LORD pondereth the hearts.

Pro 21:10 The soul of the wicked desireth evil:
his neighbour findeth no favour in his eyes.

Pro 22:12 The eyes of the LORD preserve knowledge,
and he overthroweth the words of the transgressor.

Pro 23:5 Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not?
for  riches certainly make themselves wings;
they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.

Pro 23:26 My son, give me thine heart,
and let thine eyes observe my ways.

Pro 23:29 Who hath woe?
who hath sorrow?
who hath contentions?
who hath babbling?
who hath wounds without cause?
who hath redness of eyes?

Pro 23:33 Thine eyes shall behold strange women,
and thine heart shall utter perverse things.

Pro 25:7 For better  it is
that it be said unto thee, Come up hither;
than that thou shouldest be put lower
in the presence of the prince whom thine eyes have seen.

Pro 27:20 Hell and destruction are never full;
so the eyes of man are never satisfied.

Pro 28:27 He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack:
but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.

Pro 29:13 The poor and the deceitful man meet together:
the LORD lighteneth both their eyes.

Pro 30:12  There is a generation
that are pure in their own eyes,
and  yet is not washed from their filthiness.

Pro 30:13  There is a generation,
O how lofty are their eyes!
and their eyelids are lifted up.

Ecc 2:10 And whatsoever mine eyes
desired I kept not from them,
I withheld not my heart from any joy;
for my heart rejoiced in all my labour:
and this was my portion of all my labour.

Ecc 2:14 The wise man’s eyes  are in his head;
but the fool walketh in darkness:
and I myself perceived also
that one event happeneth to them all.

Ecc 5:11 When goods increase,
they are increased that eat them:
and what good  is there to the owners thereof,
saving the beholding of them with their eyes?

Ecc 6:9 Better  is the sight of the eyes
than the wandering of the desire:
this is also vanity and vexation of spirit.

Ecc 8:16 When I applied mine heart to know wisdom,
and to see the business that is done upon the earth:
(for also there is that neither day nor night seeth sleep with his eyes:)

Ecc 11:7 Truly the light  is sweet,
and a pleasant  thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun:

Ecc 11:9 Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth;
and let thy heart cheer thee
in the days of thy youth,
and walk in the ways of thine heart,
and in the sight of thine eyes:
but know thou, that for all these  things
God will bring thee into judgment.

Son 1:15 Behold, thou art fair, my love;
behold, thou art fair;
thou  hast doves’ eyes.

Son 4:1 Behold, thou art fair,
my love; behold, thou art fair;
thou  hast doves’ eyes within thy locks:
thy hair  is as a flock of goats,
that appear from mount Gilead.

Son 4:9 Thou hast ravished my heart,
my sister, my spouse;
thou hast ravished my heart
with one of thine eyes,
with one chain of thy neck.

Son 5:12 His eyes  are as the eyes of doves
by the rivers of waters,
washed with milk,
and fitly set.

Son 6:5 Turn away thine eyes from me,
for they have overcome me:
thy hair  is as a flock of goats
that appear from Gilead.

Son 7:4 Thy neck  is as a tower of ivory;
thine eyes like the fishpools in Heshbon,
by the gate of Bathrabbim:
thy nose is as the tower of Lebanon
which looketh toward Damascus.

Son 8:10 I  am a wall,
and my breasts like towers:
then was I in his eyes
as one that found favour.
