and spake boldly for the space of three months,

as putting you in mind,
because of the grace that is given to me of God,

ministering the gospel of God,
that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable,
being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.

as I ought to speak.

that we may obtain mercy,
and find grace to help in time of need.

The Lord  is my helper,
and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

the mouth speaketh.

bringeth forth good things:
and an evil man out of the evil treasure
bringeth forth evil things.

so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights
in the heart of the earth.

Mat 13:15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross,
and  their ears are dull of hearing,
and their eyes they have closed;
lest at any time they should see with  their eyes,
and hear with  their ears,
and should understand with  their heart,
and should be converted,
and I should heal them.

Mat 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth,
and honoureth me with  their lips;
but their heart is far from me.

Mat 15:19 For out of the heart proceed
evil thoughts,

blasphemies:

15:20 These are  the things which defile a man:
but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

Mar 6:52 For they considered not  the miracle of the loaves:
for their heart was hardened.

Mar 7:6 He answered and said unto them,
Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written,
This people honoureth me with  their lips,
but their heart is far from me.

Mar 7:21 For from within, out of the heart of men,
proceed evil thoughts,

Why reason ye, because ye have no bread?
perceive ye not yet, neither understand?
have ye your heart yet hardened?

For the hardness of your heart
he wrote you this precept.

Luk 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart

there will your heart be also.

and went to God;
13:4 He riseth from supper,
and laid aside his garments;
and took a towel,
and girded himself.

but I will see you again,
and your heart shall rejoice,
and your joy no man taketh from you.

and my tongue was glad;
moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

that believed were of one heart and of one soul:
neither said any  of them that ought of the things
which he possessed was his own;

and should be converted,
and I should heal them.

treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath
and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

2:6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
2:7 To them who by patient continuance
in well doing seek for glory and honour
and immortality, eternal life:
2:8 But unto them that are contentious,
and do not obey the truth,
but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
2:9 Tribulation and anguish,
upon every soul of man that doeth evil,
of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “Lion(s)”.

2Sa 1:23 Saul and Jonathan  were lovely and pleasant in their lives,
and in their death they were not divided:
they were swifter than eagles,
they were stronger than lions.

1Ki 7:29 And on the borders that  were between the ledges  were
lions, oxen, and cherubims:
and upon the ledges  there was a base above:
and beneath the lions and oxen  were
certain additions made of thin work.

1Ki 7:36 For on the plates of the ledges thereof,
and on the borders thereof,
he graved cherubims, lions, and palm trees,
according to the proportion of every one,
and additions round about.

1Ki 10:19 The throne had six steps,
and the top of the throne  was round behind:
and  there were stays on either side on the place of the seat,
and two lions stood beside the stays.

1Ki 10:20 And twelve lions stood there
on the one side and on the other upon the six steps:
there was not the like made in any kingdom.

2Ki 17:25 And  so it was at the beginning of their dwelling there,
that they feared not the LORD:
therefore the LORD sent lions among them,
which slew  some of them.

2Ki 17:26 Wherefore they spake to the king of Assyria, saying,
The nations which thou hast removed,
and placed in the cities of Samaria,
know not the manner of the God of the land:
therefore he hath sent lions among them, and, behold, they slay them,
because they know not the manner of the God of the land.

1Ch 12:8 And of the Gadites there separated themselves
unto David into the hold to the wilderness men of might,
and men of war  fit for the battle,
that could handle shield and buckler,
whose faces  were like the faces of lions,
and  were as swift as the roes upon the mountains;

2Ch 9:18 And  there were six steps to the throne,
with a footstool of gold,
which were fastened to the throne,
and stays on each side of the sitting place,
and two lions standing by the stays:

2Ch 9:19 And twelve lions stood there
on the one side and on the other upon the six steps.
There was not the like made in any kingdom.

Job 4:10 The roaring of the lion,
and the voice of the fierce lion,
and the teeth of the young lions,
are broken.

Job 38:39 Wilt thou hunt the prey for the lion?
or fill the appetite of the young lions,

Psa 34:10 The young lions do lack,
and suffer hunger:
but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good  thing.

Psa 35:17 Lord, how long wilt thou look on?
rescue my soul from their destructions,
my darling from the lions.

Psa 57:4 My soul  is among lions:
and I lie  even among them that are set on fire,
even the sons of men,
whose teeth  are spears and arrows,
and their tongue a sharp sword.

Psa 58:6 Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth:
break out the great teeth of the young lions, O LORD.

Psa 104:21 The young lions roar after their prey,
and seek their meat from God.

Son 4:8 Come with me from Lebanon,
my spouse, with me from Lebanon:
look from the top of Amana,
from the top of Shenir and Hermon,
from the lions’ dens,
from the mountains of the leopards.

Isa 5:29 Their roaring  shall be like a lion,
they shall roar like young lions:
yea, they shall roar,
and lay hold of the prey,
and shall carry  it away safe,
and none shall deliver  it.

Isa 15:9 For the waters of Dimon shall be full of blood:
for I will bring more upon Dimon,
lions upon him that escapeth of Moab,
and upon the remnant of the land.

Jer 2:15 The young lions roared upon him,
and yelled,
and they made his land waste:
his cities are burned without inhabitant.

Jer 50:17 Israel  is a scattered sheep;
the lions have driven  him away:
first the king of Assyria hath devoured him;
and last this Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath broken his bones.

Jer 51:38 They shall roar together like lions:
they shall yell as lions’ whelps.

A lioness:
she lay down among lions,
she nourished her whelps among young lions.

Eze 19:6 And he went up and down among the lions,
he became a young lion,
and learned to catch the prey,
and devoured men.

Eze 38:13 Sheba, and Dedan,
and the merchants of Tarshish,
with all the young lions thereof,
shall say unto thee,
Art thou come to take a spoil?
hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey?
to carry away silver and gold,
to take away cattle and goods,
to take a great spoil?

Dan 6:7 All the presidents of the kingdom,
the governors,
and the princes,
the counsellors,
and the captains,
have consulted together to establish a royal statute,
and to make a firm decree,
that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God
or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king,
he shall be cast into the den of lions.

Dan 6:12 Then they came near,
and spake before the king concerning the king’s decree;
Hast thou not signed a decree,
that every man that shall ask  a petition of any God or man
within thirty days, save of thee, O king,
shall be cast into the den of lions?
The king answered and said,
The thing  is true,
according to the law of the Medes and Persians,
which altereth not.

Dan 6:16 Then the king commanded,
and they brought Daniel,
and cast  him into the den of lions.
Now the king spake and said unto Daniel,
Thy God whom thou servest continually,
he will deliver thee.

and went in haste unto the den of lions.

Dan 6:20 And when he came to the den,

and the king spake and said to Daniel,
O Daniel, servant of the living God,
is thy God,
whom thou servest continually,
able to deliver thee from the lions?

Dan 6:22 My God hath sent his angel,
and hath shut the lions’ mouths,
that they have not hurt me:
forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me;
and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

Dan 6:24 And the king commanded,
and they brought those men which had accused Daniel,
and they cast  them into the den of lions,
them, their children,
and their wives;
and the lions had the mastery of them,
and brake all their bones in pieces
or ever they came at the bottom of the den.

Dan 6:27 He delivereth and rescueth,
and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth,
who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.

Nah 2:11 Where  is the dwelling of the lions,
and the feedingplace of the young lions,
where the lion,
even the old lion,
walked,
and the lion’s whelp, and
none made  them afraid?

Nah 2:13 Behold, I  am against thee,
saith the LORD of hosts,
and I will burn her chariots in the smoke,
and the sword shall devour thy young lions:
and I will cut off thy prey from the earth,
and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be heard.

and brimstone:

and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.

Thou fool,
this night thy soul shall be required of thee:
then whose shall those things be,
which thou hast provided?

and what shall I say?
Father, save me from this hour:
but for this cause came I unto this hour.

Act 2:27  Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell,
neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

2Co 1:23  Moreover I call God for a record upon my soul,
that to spare you
I came not as yet unto Corinth.

2Co 1:24 Not for that
we have dominion over your faith,
but are helpers of your joy:
for by faith ye stand.

Heb 10:38  Now the just shall live by faith:
but if  any man draw back,
my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Hab-2:4 Behold, his soul
which is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith.

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “master of . . . ”.

24:25 She said moreover unto him,
We have both straw and provender enough,
and room to lodge in.
24:26 And the man bowed down his head,
and worshipped the LORD.

Gen 24:27  And he said, Blessed  be the LORD God of my master Abraham,
who hath not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth:
I  being in the way,
the LORD led me to the house of my master’s brethren.

Exo 22:8  If the thief be not found,
then the master of the house shall be brought unto the judges,
to see whether he have put his hand unto his neighbour’s goods.

22:9 For all manner of trespass,
whether it be for ox, for ass, for sheep, for raiment,
or for any manner of lost thing,
which  another challengeth to be his,
the cause of both parties shall come before the judges;
and whom the judges shall condemn,
he shall pay double unto his neighbour.

Jdg 19:22   Now as they were making their hearts merry,
behold, the men of the city,
certain sons of Belial,
beset the house round about,
and beat at the door,
and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying,
Bring forth the man that came into thine house,
that we may know him.

Jdg 19:23  And the man, the master of the house,
went out unto them, and said unto them,
Nay, my brethren,  nay, I pray you,
do not  so wickedly;
seeing that this man is come into mine house,
do not this folly.

1Ch 15:27  And David  was clothed with a robe of fine linen,
and all the Levites that bare the ark,
and the singers,
and Chenaniah the master of the song with the singers:
David also had upon him an ephod of linen.

Dan 1:3  And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs,
that he should bring  certain of the children of Israel,
and of the king’s seed,
and of the princes;

1:4 Children in whom  was no blemish,
but well favoured,
and skilful in all wisdom,
and cunning in knowledge,
and understanding science,
and such as  had ability in them to stand in the king’s palace,
and whom they might teach the learning
and the tongue of the Chaldeans.

Dan 4:9  O Belteshazzar, master of the magicians,
because I know that the spirit of the holy gods  is in thee,
and no secret troubleth thee,
tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen,
and the interpretation thereof.

Dan 5:11  There is a man in thy kingdom,
in whom  is the spirit of the holy gods;
and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom,
like the wisdom of the gods,
was found in him;
whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father,
the king,  I say, thy father, made master of the magicians,
astrologers, Chaldeans,  and soothsayers;

5:12 Forasmuch as an excellent spirit,
and knowledge,
and understanding,
interpreting of dreams,
and shewing of hard sentences,
and dissolving of doubts,
were found in the same Daniel,
whom the king named Belteshazzar:
now let Daniel be called,
and he will shew the interpretation.

Mat 10:25  It is enough for the disciple
that he be as his master,
and the servant as his lord.
If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub,
how much more  shall they call them of his household?

10:26 Fear them not therefore:
for there is nothing covered,
that shall not be revealed;
and hid,
that shall not be known.
10:27 What I tell you in darkness,
that speak ye in light:
and what ye hear in the ear,
that preach ye upon the housetops.
10:28 And fear not them which kill the body,
but are not able to kill the soul:
but rather fear him which is able to destroy
both soul and body in hell.

Mar 13:35  Watch ye therefore:
for ye know not when the master of the house cometh,
at even,
or at midnight,
or at the cockcrowing,
or in the morning:

13:36 Lest coming suddenly
he find you sleeping.
13:37 And what I say unto you
I say unto all, Watch.

Luk 13:25  When once the master of the house is risen up,
and hath shut to the door,
and ye begin to stand without,
and to knock at the door, saying,
Lord, Lord, open unto us;
and he shall answer and say unto you,
I know you not whence ye are:

13:26 Then shall ye begin to say,
We have eaten and drunk in thy presence,
and thou hast taught in our streets.
13:27 But he shall say, I tell you,
I know you not whence ye are;
depart from me,
all  ye workers of iniquity.

Luk 14:21  So that servant came,
and shewed his lord these things.
Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant,
Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city,
and bring in hither the poor,
and the maimed,
and the halt,
and the blind.

Joh 3:10  Jesus answered and said unto him,
Art thou a master of Israel,
and knowest not these things?

3:11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
We speak that we do know,
and testify that we have seen;
and ye receive not our witness.
3:12 If I have told you earthly things,
and ye believe not,
how shall ye believe,
if I tell you  of heavenly things?
3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven,
but he that came down from heaven,
even the Son of man which is in heaven.

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “Commend”

Gen 12:15 The princes also of Pharaoh saw her,
and commended her before Pharaoh:
and the woman was taken into Pharaoh’s house.

Pro 12:8 A man shall be commended
according to his wisdom:
but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised.

Ecc 8:15 Then I commended mirth,
because a man hath no better thing under the sun,
than to eat,
and to drink,
and to be merry:
for that shall abide with him of his labour the days of his life,
which God giveth him under the sun.

Luk 16:8 And the lord commended the unjust steward,
because he had done wisely:
for the children of this world are in their generation
wiser than the children of light.

Luk 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father,
into thy hands I commend my spirit:
and having said thus,
he gave up the ghost.

Act 14:23 And when they had ordained them elders in every church,
and had prayed with fasting,
they commended them to the Lord,
on whom they believed.

Act 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God,
and to the word of his grace,
which is able to build you up,
and to give you an inheritance
among all them which are sanctified.

Rom 3:5 But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God,
what shall we say?
Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that,
while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us.

Rom 16:1 I commend unto you Phebe our sister,
which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea:

1Co 8:8 But meat commendeth us not to God:
for neither, if we eat,
are we the better;
neither, if we eat not,
are we the worse.

2Co 3:1 Do we begin again to commend ourselves?
or need we, as some  others,
epistles of commendation to you,
or  letters of commendation from you?

2Co 4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty,
not walking in craftiness,
nor handling the word of God deceitfully;
but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves
to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

2Co 5:12 For we commend not ourselves again unto you,
but give you occasion to glory on our behalf,
that ye may have somewhat to  answer them
which glory in appearance,
and not in heart.

2Co 10:12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number,
or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves:
but they measuring themselves by themselves,
and comparing themselves among themselves,
are not wise.

2Co 10:18 For not he that commendeth himself is approved,
but whom the Lord commendeth.

2Co 12:11 I am become a fool in glorying;
ye have compelled me:
for I ought to have been commended of you:
for in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles,
though I be nothing.
