I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “Foolishly ”.
Gen-31:28 And hast not suffered me to kiss
my sons and my daughters?
thou hast now done foolishly in so doing.
Num-12:11 And Aaron said unto Moses,
Alas, my lord, I beseech thee,
lay not the sin upon us,
wherein we have done foolishly,
and wherein we have sinned.
1Sa-13:13 And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly:
thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God,
which he commanded thee:
for now would the LORD have established
thy kingdom upon Israel for ever.
2Sa-24:10 And David’s heart smote him
after that he had numbered the people.
And David said unto the LORD,
I have sinned greatly in that I have done:
and now, I beseech thee, O LORD,
take away the iniquity of thy servant;
for I have done very foolishly.
1Ch-21:8 And David said unto God,
I have sinned greatly,
because I have done this thing:
but now, I beseech thee,
do away the iniquity of thy servant;
for I have done very foolishly.
2Ch-16:9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro
throughout the whole earth,
to shew himself strong in the behalf of them
whose heart is perfect toward him.
Herein thou hast done foolishly:
therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
Job-1:22 In all this Job sinned not,
nor charged God foolishly.
Psa-75:4 I said unto the fools,
Deal not foolishly:
and to the wicked,
Lift not up the horn:
5. Lift not up your horn on high:
speak not with a stiff neck.
Pro-14:17 He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly:
and a man of wicked devices is hated.
Pro-30:32 If thou hast done foolishly
in lifting up thyself,
or if thou hast thought evil,
lay thine hand upon thy mouth.
2Co-11:17 That which I speak,
I speak it not after the Lord,
but as it were foolishly,
in this confidence of boasting.
2Co-11:21 I speak as concerning reproach,
as though we had been weak.
Howbeit whereinsoever any is bold,
(I speak foolishly,) I am bold also.
