2012 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The new Boeing 787 Dreamliner can carry about 250 passengers. This blog was viewed about 1,100 times in 2012. If it were a Dreamliner, it would take about 4 trips to carry that many people.

Simplicity and Honest from the Holy Bible (KJV)

Little boy shares victuals with stray dogs in the winter

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “Simplicity / Honest” .

Simplicity

2Sa 15:11 And with Absalom went two hundred men out of Jerusalem,
that were called;
and they went in their simplicity,
and they knew not any thing.

Pro 1:22 How long, ye simple ones,
will ye love simplicity?
and the scorners delight in their scorning,
and fools hate knowledge?

Rom 12:8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation:
he that giveth,  let him do it with simplicity;
he that ruleth, with diligence;
he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

2Co 1:12 For our rejoicing is this,
the testimony of our conscience,
that in simplicity and godly sincerity,
not with fleshly wisdom,
but by the grace of God,
we have had our conversation in the world,
and more abundantly to you-ward.

2Co 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means,
as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty,
so your minds should be corrupted
from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Honest

1Ti 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all,
supplications,
prayers,
intercessions,
and giving of thanks,
be made for all men;

1Ti-2:2 For kings, and  for all that are in authority;
that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life
in all godliness and honesty.

Luk 8:15 But that on the good ground are they,
which in an honest and good heart,
having heard the word, keep  it,
and bring forth fruit with patience.

Act 6:3 Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report,
full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom,
whom we may appoint over this business.

Rom 12:17 Recompense to no man evil for evil.
Provide things honest
in the sight of all men.

Rom 13:13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day;
not in rioting and drunkenness,
not in chambering and wantonness,
not in strife and envying.

2Co 8:21 Providing for honest things,
not only in the sight of the Lord,
but also in the sight of men.

2Co 13:7 Now I pray to God that ye do no evil;
not that we should appear approved,
but that ye should do that which is honest,
though we be as reprobates.

Phi 4:8 Finally, brethren,
whatsoever things are true,
whatsoever things  are honest,
whatsoever things  are just,
whatsoever things  are pure,
whatsoever things  are lovely,
whatsoever things  are of good report;
if  there be any virtue,
and if  there be any praise, t
hink on these things.

Phi 4:9 Those things, which ye have both learned,
and received,
and heard,
and seen in me, do:
and the God of peace shall be with you.

1Th 4:9 But as touching brotherly love ye need not
that I write unto you:
for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

1Th 4:10 And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren
which are in all Macedonia:
but we beseech you, brethren,
that ye increase more and more;

1Th 4:11 And that ye study to be quiet,
and to do your own business,
and to work with your own hands,
as we commanded you;

1Th 4:12 That ye may walk honestly
toward them that are without,
and  that ye may have lack of nothing.

Heb 13:18 Pray for us:
for we trust we have a good conscience,
in all things willing to live honestly.

1Pe 2:12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles:
that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers,
they may by  your good works,
which they shall behold,
glorify God in the day of visitation.
