Resist What ? …..Resist the Devil?…..

“Who  is wise, and he shall understand these  things?
prudent, and he shall know them?
for the ways of the LORD  are right,
and the just shall walk in them:
but the transgressors shall fall therein. ” – Hos-14:9

I am no preacher, but, am a sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read the Holy Bible (The Holy Bible-KJV), the following verses were given me in the context of “Resist” .

Luk-21:15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom,
which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

Act-6:10 And they were not able to resist
the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake.

Rom-9:19 Thou wilt say then unto me,
Why doth he yet find fault?
For who hath resisted his will?

Heb-12:2. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of  our faith; 
who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, 
despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 
Heb-12:3. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, 
lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Heb-12:4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood,
striving against sin.

Jam-4:6 But he giveth more grace.
Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud,
but giveth grace unto the humble.

Jam-5:6 Ye have condemned  and killed the just;
and he doth not resist you.

1Pe-5:5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder.
Yea, all  of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility:
for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

because your adversary the devil,

in your brethren that are in the world.
